- Ballycroy National Park is situated on the western seaboard in northwest Mayo and covers over 11,000 hectares of
Atlantic blanket bog and mountainous terrain. The National Park is dominated by the Nephin Beg mountain range and the Owenduff bog which
is one of the last intact active blanket bog systems in Ireland and Western Europe.
